What are my payment options?

Customers can pay make electronic payments or mail payment to PO BOX 3895 Lancaster, PA 17604.

How do I read my meter?

The best way to read your meter is to first shine an LED light to "wake up" the meter. Next, the display screen should populate the current read.

Do you charge for online payments?

No. We do not charge for online payments.

Why do I get billed a "base amount"?

The base amount is the minimum charge, irrespective of usage, that everyone pays to cover debt payments on the money borrowed and spent on existing facilities and infrastructure upgrades. 

How do I dispute my bill?

Please call customer service at 215-343-3946.

Is there a discount if I pay early?

No. We do not offer discounts.

Do you offer pool and/or leak credits?

Pool credits are not available. Leak credits are not available; eligibility may exist if water did not enter the sewer system. Sewer charges are based on total metered water usage. Deduct meters can measure water not entering the sewer system.

Am I signed up for Autopay?

To confirm if you are signed up for Autopay, send customer service an email (customerservice@bcwsa.net). We can easily confirm if that information is accurate.

Why was my water shut-off?

We would never randomly shut water off. If your water is shut-off, please ensure that your balance is not past due. If you have further questions please call customer service at 215-343-3946.

Why is there low water pressure?

There could be a multitide of reasons why you are experiencing low water pressure. There could be a watermain break or fire hydrant flushing. Check our website for up-to-date information.
